The Saluting Battery is a historical cannon battery located in the city of Valletta, Malta. It was built by the Knights of St. John in the 16th century and was used to fire salutes and warning shots to signal the arrival of ships in the harbor. Today, visitors can witness a daily reenactment of the traditional midday gun salute.

The Saluting Battery is open daily from 10:00am to 5:00pm, with the midday gun salute taking place at 12:00pm. Admission is €3 per person and tickets can be purchased on-site or online at the official website.

In addition to the Saluting Battery, visitors to Valletta can also explore other historic sites such as St. John's Co-Cathedral, the Grand Master's Palace, and the National Museum of Archaeology. There are also plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops in the surrounding area.
